Most of our population is composed of "criollos", descendants of Spanish and Portuguese ancestry, and the minority is composed by other European immigrants, followed by various native peoples (such as quechuas, aimaras, guaraníes, amazonas, caribes, araucanos, mapuches, etc.). Each of these ethnic groups are located in different regions. Black people and mulatos are located in the north part of the region, and some in the southern part of the tropical regions. The Mestizos are the sons of European conquerors and native people. We also have immigrants from the Far and Middle East of the Asiatic continent, including Japanese, Chinese, Arab, Jewish and Hindu peoples.
